Understanding your Stotles notice page

How to understand signal scores and customise your Stotles home screen to ensure you can see the most relevant insights.

The Stotles Home Screen serves as the primary interface for users to discover and manage opportunities within the Stotles platform. Users have various options to personalise this screen, enhancing its relevance to their specific needs. By doing so, you can quickly and easily identify the most pertinent opportunities while accessing key data points right from your initial login to Stotles.

Signal Score

  • What is a Stotles Signal Score?
A Signal Score is a score assigned to every single notice you see in Stotles. Made up of an AI-driven proprietary algorithm, the score distills the signals from the noise, recommending which contracts are worthy of pursuit across the app, from your feed to buyer and supplier profiles, and which are noise to ignore.
  • How do Signal Scores work?
Signal Scores are calculated based on your signal settings (your unique keywords, partners competitors and CPV codes in-app). Our algorithm gives every contract in app a score of 0 - 3. The score is based on the strength of your signal settings when matched against the analysed contract.

For example, if a keyword in a user's signal settings is present in the title of a notice, it will be considered a better match to the user's requirements and, therefore, the notice will be attributed a higher signal score.

Top Tip: for optimising the use of the signal score

  • Users can filter the notice screen by signal score to ensure that the most relevant 3 score notices appear at the top of the list and lower-rated 1-score notices are lower down the list. This can help users to prioritise which notices to review first based on those that have a higher score.
  • As the signal score is dependent on the keywords within a user's signal settings, it is imperative that these are accurate and updated to ensure the score is as useful and relevant as possible.

Edit columns

  • During the column editing process, users can drag the positioning of the column titles up and down the list to ensure that the most relevant titles appear in the order they desire within their notice feed.

Top Tip: for editing columns

  • Any changes to both the column order and signal score relevance can be saved to a view by selecting the update current view option at the top right of the screen.
